Ask Dr. Marta

Hey there! I’m Dr. Marta D. Collier, the CEO of Marta Collier Educational Systems and Services, LLC. Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, I am a retired school teacher and college professor of over 40 years. Currently, I provide educational consultant services to parents and early childhood educators who are committed to helping their students succeed in school.

Ask Dr. Marta is a piece of a dream I have carried with me from my early days as a student at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.  After having spent the better part of 40 years teaching and training in early childhood education in Georgia, Iowa and Arkansas, I continue to have a driving passion to help parents of young children, and the educators who support them, access the resources they need to be great. In my work, I’ve found that many times folks don’t know where to start with their questions or they are hesitant to ask for help with how to support their child’s development. With your help, this podcast will be one of those safe spaces where people can come to get the help they need in raising up the next generation of brilliant young minds.

I have been told that people need help with finding ways to support early learners and their families especially as we find ourselves moving more and more of education into digital spaces. Though I am retired, I want to help, but I need your help to do so. This is my first foray into the world of podcasting and I want to build out this resource in a way that makes it accessible to everyone who needs it. I have set up a Patreon to help make it easier for us to build these supports for our early childhood community. Join my patreon family by subscribing at the following link: https://www.patreon.com/AskDrMarta.  For as little as $3/month you can help me to create videos and other resources that directly help parents and early childhood educators succeed in preparing young learners to excel in school and life. If you have any questions feel free to email me at info@AskDrMarta.com or visit my website martacollier.com.
