I love when I have conversations with the older saints.  They will give you gentle reminders and corrections that you sometimes didn’t know that you need.  

If you know me personally then you know I have a recurring life saga with issues with my car tires.  Thursday on my way to work I had a blow out on the interstate. Luckily, I heard it as it happened and was able to safely get to a tire shop for repair.

One of my favorite sayings is “Jesus takes care of babies and fools”.  During my conversion the gentle correction came with “No ma’am; you are a child of God”.  It was a reminder of how we need to be with our words.  We can’t be dismissive with the goodness of God in our lives.  I am a child of God and his protection over me should be praised with more than saying Jesus takes care of babies and fools.

Remember to speak kindness over yourself daily.
