The simplest definition of leadership is influencing others to do something while working towards a common goal or agenda. In 2022, I’m focusing on becoming a better leader in all areas of my life. As I grow, I’m sharing lessons and stories along the way. Thanks for tuning in and I hope something I share resonates with you in your leadership (influence) journey.
Perfect practice makes perfect performance. Repetition helps make perfection. Doing the right things over and over with consistency leads to results. Many times, in the rush to finish and move on to the next thing, we rarely achieve perfection or excellence. We settle for mediocre performance or an “at least” attitude. Resisting the urge to move from one thing to the next before it’s time is a valuable lesson.
Think of a time when you rushed through something and did a sub-par job. What could you have done differently to complete the task with excellence? How many times could you have repeated the activity?
