Recently, I recorded a podcast and my guest mentioned the thought of “stuck versus planted”. While many times we find ourselves “stuck” in a season and not getting any traction, that holding pattern can be a good thing if we are planted. Planted implies that our roots are sunk into the ground (situation) and we are learning from it. We are adding life lessons to our arsenal which are preparing us for the next level. Next time you find yourself “stuck”, consider if you are really stuck (in which case you need to change your position) or if you are simply planted. If you find yourself “stuck”, what step can you take today to get unstuck and in a position of growth? Reflections: What am I learning in this situation? Have I positioned myself to look at the situation from different perspectives? How so? Am I ready for the next season? Why or why not?
