Happy 2022 everybody! I’m pretty sure all of you know that I took a real vacation at the end of the year to make sure I rested properly. 2021 was a BUSY year, but a lot of great things came along with all of that busy.

By the time December rolled around I was BEAT, y’all hear me. Completely done! Old Marta would have slept for a couple of days and then jumped into doing THE MOST with catching up on creative projects. I even made myself take a break from that and it was HARD. But I’m so glad I did because when I clocked back in mid-January I was on FIYA to get Showing Our Sass reworked and back in business.

Now, those of you who have been around for a minute know that the first iteration of Showing Our Sass happened in 2020. I LOVED that version but as with many things it needed to grow and change and I am ABSOLUTELY in love with this new format and I truly hope you will love it too cause I’m dropping episodes every week on Saturdays at 9AM Central. No for real, I have all seven episodes done and they are getting scheduled TADAY! (I’m so excited!!)

I decided to do something different and create an entire season where I dive deep in with only a couple guests and give us time to really dig into a topic across multiple episodes. Season 1 I spend the entire 7 episodes with Esi Akyere Mail Arthur Snodgrass talking about the various ways and reasons we should take control of our health choices. It’s amazing the difference a little time and editing can make in sharing stories that are about things that make some people uncomfortable.
