Our small family garden produced a few bell peppers and tomatoes. We started in the spring with seeds and waited several months before we finally had a harvest. But the harvest came in all shapes, colors and sizes. Within the tomatoes there were small and larger ones and different shapes bell peppers. Overall, the end result yielded vegetables.
Many times, we find ourselves planting seeds and waiting for the harvest to only see something we didn’t expect. We must be open to receive whatever the harvest yields as a result of our work. We can be assured if we use our gifts and talents, we’ll receive rewards. Those rewards may vary in scope or size but we are still yielding fruit!
Don’t get discouraged if your harvest is different than you expected. Continue to sow seeds, nurture them, wait and expect something good to happen.
