I am lover of music. I will confess that I am stuck in a certain time period because some of today’s new music vex my spirit.

In my spare time, I like to watch videos of vocal coaches reacting to various songs. The nerd in me enjoys this type of stuff. I am learning about techniques. To me, I know what sounds good but to understand the hows and whys of a note or the movement of a singer’s mouth can change a song in an instant.

I came across a video critiquing the AMAZING Lalah Hathaway. Her vocal range gives me chills each time I listen to her. I think God knew I didn’t need the gift of singing. People would be tired of me.
