Oxford Dictionary defines toxic as “very harmful or unpleasant in a pervasive or insidious way.” News coverage has been following the Frito Lay strike. Workers are demanding better work environment and a livable wage.

Have you ever worked in a toxic environment? How did you handle it? Were the problems ever resolved? I’ve had toxic moments in the work place. I understand why people walk away from jobs.

I shouldn’t be shocked but it still amazes me that companies won’t pay people a living wage. People spend most of their time at the workplace. While working does come with its own stress, people shouldn’t be worried about being overworked and underpaid.
