On Wednesday, January 20th, Joseph R. Biden will be installed as the next President of the United States. This is such a wonderful time in our country but do feel like there is no excitement around this event. Or is it just me?

2021 started off with a level of foolishness that I cannot put into words. I’m sure I will find them but right now I want to focus on another historic moment in our country’s history.

With the inauguration of “Uncle Joe”, we gain the installation of the first woman vice president, who so happen to be a woman of color. How amazing is that? Representation matters.

I hope the media in the country will focus on the positive and stop giving life to the foolishness that occurred at the Capitol. Let’s build excitement for “Uncle Joe” and Kamala.
