Transformative Thursdays: Bringing It into Focus

This time of year, most of us have just committed to achieving personal and maybe even professional goals. We may have even chosen our “word” for the year to guide us in the days ahead. Some of us have created vision boards and written out strategies that will help us achieve our action plan. All of this is great! But it will mean very little if we don’t maintain focus. 

Focus is the ability to hone in on something without looking at the things around it. In other words, steering clear of distractions or things that cause our mission to become blurry must be avoided. Distractions come in many forms. It’s up to us to recognize them, identify them and return to the object in focus.
