Operation Home Office

Does anyone else feel like the days are misaligned? I made it through most of the day having to remind myself that it was Monday and not Friday. Not really sure what reversed my poles but I am excited with the way my day ended.

For several months now I have been plotting and planning to reclaim my home office space. I surrendered it last Spring when my husband band was ordered to work from home due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Once he was recalled in the summer the task of reclaiming the space seemed daunting to say the least.

The Before…

I made the attempt several times and failed enough that I just continued to work from the dining room. But today I declared that enough was enough and channeled my inner WWE fighter to begin the work.

Flipping tables and taking names…

First step was to clear the room as much as possible. Next I had to assemble my new desk and shift the makeshift bookcase. Then assemble my new iMac and voila! I love the way it all came out!

New Home Office Workspace

I definitely have a good bit more organizing and sorting to do but I think I’m off to a good start. Stay tuned this week for Part 2 of Operation Home Office as well as Part 2 of my Go Marta, Go! Amtrak trip to Missouri. Check out Part 1 HERE. Stay safe out there, y’all.
