Thanksgiving is often the season we pause and count our blessings. 2020 has been a different-kind of year and has meant different things for everyone. It has caused me to appreciate things in a different light.
I’m grateful for life. Many didn’t make it to today.
I’m grateful for family and the quality time we’ve had to spend together.
I’m grateful for trying new things like a family garden in our back yard.
I’m grateful for my career that allows me to serve others in fulfilling ways.
I’m grateful for the Lord who has kept me centered during this year.
I’m grateful for my husband who supports me, loves me and is fun to be around.
I’m grateful for my children—each one brings a unique perspective to our family.
I’m grateful for the Body of Christ that continues to be a light in a dark world.
I’m thankful for health and being able to run everyday.
I’m thankful for a home and food.
Counting my blessings brings me to a place of contentment and gratitude. I can enjoy the journey and appreciate being present and alive in this moment.
What are you thankful for?
