I’m sitting in my creative chair just savoring the taste of this moment. I haven’t even started brewing my coffee and already I can feel the hum in my blood.

My short film is screening today.

And it really just hit me last night as we were wrapping up one of the festival masterclasses on screenwriting that I am, and have always been, a filmmaker. I know this might sound crazy to some of y’all but seriously, I’m still in shock.

I suppose there are some people like me who can see things in the lives of others while also having a block when it comes to self reflection.

Whatever all “this” is, what I know without a doubt is that I am happy and completely plugged in to something that I love without exception.
