I remember applying for a job that I felt was the perfect job for me. It suited my skill set and would allow me opportunities to grow. I felt my interviewing process had gone extremely well and I received complimentary feedback. I was rejected for the position. I didn’t really understand why and felt a little disappointed. I was ready for change and felt as though God had opened that specific door for the change.
Fast forward a few years and I can look back and see why I didn’t get that job. I didn’t need to be at that place. God was preparing another place for me that was better suited. If I had given up on looking for the right opportunity after the initial rejection, I would have forfeited a future opportunity that was better.
Many times, we stop too soon and miss the blessing. We allow disappointment, fatigue, discouragement or any number of distractions to get us off course from our purpose. Yes, you must trust the process! It is working out for your good even if you can’t see it at the time. Be patient and keep doing what you know to do. Your blessing is on the way!
