Our thoughts are directly connected to our beliefs and actions. Once a thought is born, we have a decision to make. We can receive the thought or we can reject the thought. We are bombarded with thousands of thoughts each day on a variety of topics. (Think about the random thoughts you had just over the last two hours!). What did you do with each of those thoughts? Did you brush them off and reject them? Did you receive them and consider where they might lead? Did you begin to even meditate on them and go to a deeper level with them?
Whatever decision we make concerning our thoughts results in our actions and behaviors. The sum total of our behaviors is our life. We are directly responsible for how we choose to live and it all goes back to what we did with that first thought and the thoughts after that.
Take a moment and reflect on your thought life. Is it productive and producing fruit you want to see? Is it debilitating or taking you to a place that leads to being stuck or frustrated? How can you change your thoughts to produce the actions you want to see?
The cold reality is what we see in our lives today is directly correlated to what we believe and focus on. The good news is we can always change our beliefs and ultimately our actions and our lives. You really can change your life by changing your mind!
