Most of us have had time to just “be still”. The current pandemic has interrupted our schedules and forced us to find new ways of doing things.  Most of us are spending more time at home, more time with family and more time in our own heads. But with all of this, we are given a commandment in the Word to “be still and know that He is God”. That means it’s our job to be intentional about knowing He is God and is in control. Though we may not be able to see and understand what’s happening and what’s coming, He does! It’s simply our job to be still and know.

With that knowing that He is in control, comes a trust that can’t be shaken. Yes, it’s uncomfortable. Yes, it’s difficult at times. Yes, it can be unnerving. But we can trust He knew this was coming and already has a plan to bring His children out.

Focus on your faith.

Feed your faith.

Fellowship (through social distancing) with those of like mindedness.

Know that we will get to the other side.

Keep moving.

Let’s keep each other lifted up.

Let’s spread love and compassion.

Let’s be grateful for the lessons we are learning.

Let’s be still and know.
