One definition of potential is “latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness”. Each of us has the ability to do something great—something so great that it will shatter the ceiling of where you are. But many of us stop short of developing our “latent qualities and abilities” and hinder future success. What if we exercised harder and lifted five more pounds? What if we studied an extra hour each week? What if we read an additional bible chapter each day? What if we saved an extra $10 each week? What if we said 1 less negative thing every day? What if we gave an extra $5 to a local nonprofit? What if we made an extra 30 minutes each day to spend quality time with our spouse and children?
What box have you put yourself in? What limits have you placed on yourself? What lies have you started to believe? What are your greatest dreams?
It’s time to get busy working on your latent qualities and abilities and investing more resources into your dreams. Don’t settle for where you are unless you are completely happy there. Take a step today to get out of the box and experience freedom to be all you were created to be!
