We are all trying,
very hard in fact,
to not lose something very important:
our place on harbor,
the oasis of heart,
our fixation on things promised,
our grip on reality,
peace and sanity,
our respect for one another,
vows for better or worse.
While we are trying to reach the free end of earth, only to slip constantly on sphere,
they just drifted off toward the sun…
and we didn’t even notice.
