I don’t mind telling y’all I woke up this morning feeling very…off. I don’t know if it was my body tripping over the little time jump I made this week or what. So when my coffee and classical music wasn’t getting it done and my sister-cousin told me to check out the Savage x Fenty Fashion Show I was like, “Eh, why not”. 🤷🏾♀️
Y’all, I WAS NOT READY!
I’m not a big Rihanna fan. (Shush) I don’t have a problem with her I just never got into her music. But I’ll tell you what I AM about to get into is her fashion line.
Why 👏🏽 didn’t 👏🏽 some 👏🏽 body 👏🏽 tell 👏🏽 me 👏🏽 to 👏🏽 get 👏🏽 in 👏🏽 this 👏🏽 formation?!?!?
I do want to give thanks to Rihanna for making this happen but y’all, the real MIP for me in all of this is a woman named Parris Goebel.
Again, why am I just finding out about this woman?
The routines this woman blessed us with on that stage…
Something happened to me today. I saw a beautiful demonstration of female body positivity that moved me profoundly. I also had a lot of fun wondering what would come next. You got the vibe that these women were up there on that stage for themselves and for each other. This wasn’t a come hither fella kinda show. We need more of this?
Have you seen the show? What did you think of the artistic expression? Do you think Rihanna is going to change the way we shop for our intimates? Also, doesn’t this make you wanna get up and body roll? Come on, let’s get it!
