Gratitude is food for the soul. It keeps us focused on all that’s good. All you have to do is look around to discover life could be worse. We are surrounded by blessings. Fresh air. Nature. Friends. Happy children. Laughter. A hot cup of coffee. Blue skies. Tasty food. Life.
If you really think about it, you can name several things for which you are grateful. Next time you’re tempted to meditate on the negative, remind yourself there is something good around you. There is something good within you. You are a gift to this world. You have much to be thankful for.
