Today I took a shot in the dark. As I have gotten more and more involved in building my Professional Learning Network, or PLN, on Twitter, I have met some pretty amazing people. I have grown in ways that I could have never imagined, and have opened my teaching practice up to things that are really going to help me going forward.

So when one of the people I follow, Tim Cavey of the Teachers on Fire Podcast, tweeted out that he was looking for more contributors for his Medium Magazine, I jumped on the opportunity. After exchanging messages back and forth with him, I posted my first contribution to his magazine this morning. I want to share it here. Enjoy it!
