The other day, I was looking at a tree in my backyard and was in awe of the pinkish purple blooms that had started to form. Only days before, the tree was barren and had no leaves or character to it. However, because the seasons are changing, the tree began to bloom with pretty flowers—the manifestation of a process that had been taking place for weeks. The blooming occurred because the seeds were planted years ago and over time have been nurtured with the right amount of sunlight and water. Through many seasons of weather changes, it has endured and once again, in the right season, has produced pretty floral blooms.
This tree reminded me that we are also in a process. We have endured many changes, different seasons of droughts and harvest and are still standing. It is now the season to bring forth the blooms that are the manifestation of the work we have put in. If we allow ourselves to go through the process, however painful, unexpected, and uncomfortable it may be, we will soon produce beautiful flowers. The challenge is to keep going. Keep doing. Keep believing. Keep working. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep watching. Don’t give up on your barren season because the process is at work. Be ready for your blooms and keep moving forward!

There are definitely times when the Lord calls is to stand and watch Him work. I needed this today. Thank you for sharing.
