I waited for awhile before typing up this post, partly out of a need for sleep after kids woke us up before 6 this morning, but also just because I wanted to watch the day progress. I’m extremely thankful because even though we never seem to have enough money, every Christmas our kids are blessed beyond belief. This year was no exception. Watching all five of our children open presents and play with each other throughout the day always reminds me that there is nothing more important than family. Our little(big) family has really carved out a niche for ourselves as far as celebrating Christmas, and as I watch my oldest two work together to try and put together something else that needs assembly, I’m so grateful that I get to be here for these little moments that mean so much in the grander scheme of life.

So, Merry Christmas everyone. I pray that your day has been peaceful and full of these little moments of gratitude as well. God bless you all.
