Transformative Thursdays: Do You…You Are Enough

A couple years ago, I gave myself a pep talk and had to remind myself that I am good enough.  I am valuable.  I contribute to this world.  I have a purpose.  Sometimes when life hits you hard, you begin to wonder if any of these things are true.  Am I really good enough?  Do I have what it takes?  Can I really be great?  Will things get better?  The questions swirl in your mind until you combat them with affirmative answers.  Yes, I have a purpose and I am good enough.

Be confident in who you are.  Nobody can beat you being you.  One of the attacks of the enemy is to get you to focus on not being you and to divert your attention to being someone else.  Comparison robs you of peace and causes you to live in a state of trying to be someone else.  Be comfortable and confident in your own skin.

If you find yourself in a situation where you are devalued, and made to feel less than, you should run.  It is only a matter of time before your confidence begins to wane and you settle for the box that someone has placed you in.  Be in control of your life by knowing who you are and taking life by the horns.  Settle for nothing less.  God created you just as you are for a specific purpose.  Do that and do it confidently!
