Saturday was my birthday and I chose to remain fully in the moment and enjoy my weekend adventure. Once again, I found a new experience to commemorate my latest successful rotation around the sun. But the ramp up is worth the words.
The setting for this year’s festivities was my old stomping grounds of Northwest Arkansas.
Every place has its own special beauty, but Arkansas simply takes my breath away, especially at moments like this one.

It didn’t take my very long to find my way underground to Hugo’s for one of the best burgers in the universe. It’s a Fayetteville thang, you just have to do it.

If that delicious encounter wasn’t enough, I also had the opportunity to experience the best brat of my life…from a FOOD TRUCK!
I seriously had to talk myself down from turning around and going back to the Arkansas Research and Technology Park to get a second brat.
My trip down memory lane found me outside Peabody Hall which is where my mama officed a good number of years at the University of Arkansas. It was thrilling to see that they restored the original brick exterior.
My next treat was spending time with one of my precious littles. I can’t believe how fast he is growing.
He’s definitely got the makings of an engineer!
The personalized chef experience was nice as well.
Then it was time to head into the main event…
