Do you ask yourself that question on a regular basis?
In my experience, I have to check in with myself on a fairly regular basis to make sure that I reside in the land of happy as a permanent resident, not an occasional vacationer.
I am sure I am not the only one who finds happiness maintenance as a challenging, sliding scale that requires course correcting adjustments. The world is not a static place.
Do not get me wrong. I am not suggesting that we should constantly change everything in our lives in order to remain happy, but we do need to strip away the fear that paralyzes many who need to make changes to escape less than acceptable life circumstances.
So, are you happy?
If the answer is YES, congratulations! Keep up the good work.
If the answer is NO or I DON’T KNOW, and you need help figuring out your next step, don’t stay stuck in the situation. There are people and resources that can help you make and execute a plan to GET and STAY happy. We are not meant to walk through a bland existence. We were built for happiness.
If you need help finding resources, drop me a note or a comment and I will be happy to help point you towards resources. Your happiness is worth the investment of your time and resources. One easy referral I can give is Coletta Patterson who offers life coaching services and writes for TheWRITEaddiction every Thursday. Shoot her an email at email@example.com.
Remember, we are built for happiness so don’t settle for just being “alright”. Be HAPPY!
