“Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future” Proverbs 19:20 (English Standard Version)

I am very caution in giving advice and will typically end each advise session with the following words, “hey what do I know”.  Now that is my disclaimer statement but I do take those moments when I give advice seriously and have learned over the years that stating my opinions and experiences should have impact on someone to reach their best potential.

I have also learned that I must keep an open ear to wise council.  I am very fortunate to have people in my life who offered guidance that has helped me to moved to the next level.  Offering advice is no small task just like receiving it.   Take time to listen and process the information being given to you.  Have an open heart to the insight and do not allow your emotions to dictate how you interpret the advice that is given.
