Words to me
Equal your sports
And your fishing
and your shopping,
Hunting, and Netflixing.
New words are like a 12 lbs bass,
that can be corroborated by my friends
Merriam and Webster.
Combining and creating with words
Feels like a two on one fast break
With a slam dunk on the horizon.

Finding precision of language
To express the depths
Of my creative soul
Is nirvana, without the drugs.
Poetry is not the food of the soul.
