I suppose that it is merely coincidence that I get to blog on Valentine’s Day. Then again, I don’t believe in coincidences. Ha!

My message today is very simply. It’s John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him would not perish but live eternally.

I know that we focus on love for those close to us on this day, but I want to challenge anyone who reads this blog today, to try and find a cause that stirs your heart. Something for someone outside of your immediate circle. Something that will make someone smile who hasn’t smiled in a long time.

God did what had never been done before for people who did not deserve it. We have the power to do the same. Forgive someone who does not deserve it. Bless someone even when you don’t think that you have it to give. Give yourself away.
