This year I will laugh and cry. Reach for goals and miss some. I will sing and dance, and occasionally look the fool. And so it is with life.
Focusing on what we can control is key, for where we were once blind we can now see.
I hope to improve my reactions, live more openly, and face more fears.
But what I can’t afford to do anymore, is put my life on hold. At 43, the deeper meaning of time is finally settling in. The wrinkles aren’t so much a bother, and the hairline? Well it just is…
But our unused potential is a sin. When we are not in alignment with our god given purpose, it hurts the entire planet in my opinion. Because when we impose limitations on ourselves and the world, we alter the energetic balance.
I thank you for following my random musings as I bounce around the world a bit. It’s not always pretty, but it’s been as honest as appropriate. As Jack Kerouac would say “Climb that goddamn mountain.”
2017 like every other year will bring change, but this year I can safely say I am more prepared for the gravity of changes than I ever have been before. No day is wasted if we learn from them, and make any wrongs right. And that is what I set out to do.
And I wish the same for you. “Be kind for everyone you meet is facing some kind of battle.”
