When I first moved to Fayetteville in 2006, I had no idea what type of town I was moving to. All I knew I was in the mountains and I was in Razorback nation. It took some adjustment on my part the first couple of years. Let me tell you I am still not use to the weather but that’s another story.
Venturing out in Fayetteville has been a joy. I am grateful for friends who push me to try new things. I’ve had the opportunity to bleed a cow. Discovered that I love to paint (guided of course). I have several pieces to show for it. Marta we need to have a paint night. I see a road trip in my future.
I’ve seen several plays that have been amazing. Kinky Boots and Murder for Two by far have been my favorite. Maybe one day I will get on the stage.
I’ve seen some amazing buildings, restaurants, libraries, trails, shows, and people. Take time to enjoy the space you live in. Learn the culture. Try something new. Embrace the place you are in. Make everlasting memories. I am sure glad that I have.
