 People have different ways to prepare for work. Some people like to blast hard rock or rap music. Some people prefer instrumentals or classical music. Some prefer gospel or hymns. I enjoy all of these but there is one song in particular that takes me to a place of peace like no other. When I listen to this song as I travel to work, my mind is calm and keeps me in a place gratefulness. We are admonished to worship when we feel like it and even when we don’t feel like it. Many know that this is not always an easy thing to do, especially  if the job is a combative place.

The song “Mercy” by Jonathan Butler is what I am referring to.  The music is so beautiful.  I hope that as you listen to this song, you will find that “peace that passes all understanding” which is what we need in this day and time.  Blessings.
