When I was younger, Disneyworld was the ideal spot to spend a vacation. Spending time with family. Eating ALL KINDS of food. Going on rides that would shock the system. Making memories to last a lifetime. When I married and had my own family, my son had the opportunity to see Mickey and Minnie for himself. We made several trips to Disneyworld and had a lovely time. Now I am an empty nester with a new husband and ready to make new memories. I am a feisty fifty ready to have some fun. What do I mean? I am glad that you asked.
There are numerous places where one could go to have a great vacation. At this stage in my life, I am ready to take that dream vacation to beat all vacations. I have ALWAYS wanted to go to . . . Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I am not one to sleep outdoors but I would love staying in a beautiful, fully loaded, cabin with a mountain view and a short drive to various tourist attractions. Four days three nights in a semi-secluded hideaway listening to the sounds of nature; waking to a glorious sunrise revealing the majestic Great Smokey Mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. My days would be filled with taking in the sites of Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, Dolly’s Lumberjack Adventure Dinner and Show which promises “fun and feasting in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.” Before leaving I would definitely visit the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. With my AARP discount and a Smokey Mountain VIP pass, I am sure I can get a peach of a deal to make some wonderful memories with my new sweetie. As for the rest of the “detailed itinerary.” I will leave that to your adult imagination. Can you say “honeymoon?”
Have a fabulous funkadelic Friday!!!

Well hush my mouth. That was unexpected, and yet fascinating!
