I   LOVE ME!

Oh I’m sorry.  Does that make me conceded?  Does that make me arrogant?  Does that make me vain?  Well, if loving myself gives the impression that I am ANY of those things, then . . .get over it.

I LOVE ME!

For far too long ‘curv-a-lacious’ woman have had to endure negative comments.  For far too long ‘full figured fluffy’ woman have had to step aside in the style department and settle for ugly burlap looking designs to cover what the world considers ugly.  For far, far, far, too long,  woman who have ‘something to hold on to’ have been left out of the sexy conversation.  Well, not this woman.

 I LOVE ME!

I love my curves and rolls. I love my dimples and ripples.  I am content with what I see looking back at me in the mirror.  Do I need a plus size supermodel in the media to tell me that it’s okay to be me?  NO!  Don’t get me wrong.  It is wonderful to see a REAL SIZE WOMAN shown in a positive light in the media but I don’t have to have that as validation of how I should feel about me.  So. . . . during this time of LOVE, ask yourself this question.  DO YOU LOVE YOU?
