Revolutions and the Side Effects of Iceless Glasses

Today is an annual time of celebration for me and mine. It is the anniversary of my heart’s explosion into the world (a.k.a. Terrance’s Birthday). I am always amused because he NEVER wants me to make a big deal about it.

Unfortunately this year his special day fell on my first day back on the job so our options were already limited, but then the Texas DMV decided to add a little spice to his day.

He was basically held hostage at the DMV trying to get his license transferred from Arkansas to Texas from 10:00AM until 4:00PM.

I knew something was wrong when I got an abrupt text that said, need you to come here. See, the amazing thing is that it takes a lot to upset my hubby, he’s THAT mild mannered. I am the one who usually requires calming down.

But despite it all, we were still were able to be together. Now, I just need to start planning something for next year that he really won’t see coming after today’s bizarre “celebration”.
