Honor Thy Father: Prologue

The Write Addiction is shifting gears again.  Each of our writers will be sharing their own little story arcs this month.  I’m starting off by sharing a project that I’ve been working on for a little while.  It’s the story of a daughter’s love called, “Honor Thy Father”.  I’ll introduce a little piece of the story to you every Monday from now until the end of April.  You guys will have to tell me whether you want me to keep going.  As always, please comment and share with your friends.

There’s no power like the love of a daughter for her father…

Dr. Evangeline “Eva” Barnett, a leading neuroscientist has dedicated her life to working on a cure for Alzheimer’s since her father was diagnosed the day of her graduation from medical school.  Sworn to secrecy about his condition by her father, Eva breaks off her engagement to her fiance to focus on saving her father.  Ten years later, Eva is on the verge of a breakthrough when the funding to her lab is threatened by Kingston Thorn, the newly named head of Starlight Industries, and Eva’s ex-fiance.

…and no power like a man who won’t give up on love.

Kingston Thorn thought he’d never recover from the heartbreak of Eva ending their engagement and losing herself in her research on Alzheimer’s, but when years later fate brings them back together in a business venture he’ll do anything it takes to find out what happened and how to win Eva back.

Tune in again next week for Honor Thy Father: Who Is Dr. Evangeline “Eva” Barnett”?
