Purple Raindrops

I  never  meant to cause you sorrow, I never meant to cause you pain.

I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field and don’t notice it.

I  only wanted to see you laughing, to see  you laughing in that purple rain.

Purple rain, purple rain.

Let me guide you to the purple rain.

There’s one thing I know: The blues they send to meet me
won’t defeat me.

I know times are changing and it’s time we all reach for something new.

Trying to do without Him is a strain.

Oh raindrops keep falling on my head but that doesn’t mean my eyes will soon be turning red.

Let me guide you to the purple rain.

Purple rain, purple rain.

I believe God is in everything.

Everything that ever was or ever will be.

I’m never gonna stop the rain by complaining.

I only want to see you dancing in that purple rain.

Purple rain, Purple rain.
