Yeah, I’m on a “thing” today but saw this and had to throw some fuel on the fire.  I’m not saying kids of a certain age can’t or shouldn’t watch stuff like this, but I bet you any child I have responsibility for will have to watch it with me and it will be followed by some serious conversation so they can understand the context of what they are seeing, the stereotypes and messaging that this type of display promotes and encourages.  My poor kid(s) will have to suffer being the child of this VERY socially-conscious, social behavioral scientist, but they will have to actively choose to be ignorant.  There will be no, “uh, I didn’t know”.  No ma’am or sir.  You gon learn today!
