There is something about a word of encouragement. Ina book that I am reading by Pastor Mark Batterson entitled, Chase the Lion, he writes,

“Never underestimate the power of one well-timed, well-phrased word of encouragement. One sentence can alter someone’s destiny.”

Encouragement affirms the God-given potential in another. It sees what God sees and with every positive affirmation, calls it out more and more. So, today, I would like to share with you a sermon by Pastor John Gray. He is speaking about David being the 8th child, often overlooked by everyone, but God. I want to encourage you today that even while it seems that no one is watching you, no one wants to be like you, no one wants to imitate your life, God sees you, and has acknowledged the greatness that He sees whenever he looks in your direction!
