Love is an action word. It is a choice. It involves sacrifice. Many will use the word but never engage with the heart. Don’t be swayed by those. Keep loving anyway.
Be quick to forgive. It frees you from hurt, bitterness and offense. Let God heal your heart from those who don’t forgive you. In due time, most of them will come around.
Be a person of your word and be dependable. Nothing is worse than someone who doesn’t follow through or can’t be trusted.
Seek always to understand others and not just to be understood. Listen more than you speak.
Spend time with family and friends. You were made to be in relationship with others. Without healthy relationships, you will die.
Run your race and run it well. Don’t get distracted by what others are doing. Encourage yourself when others don’t understand. Finish strong and never quit.
Look for opportunities to bless and help others. There is always someone who is worse off than you so be thankful.
Put God first and His way of doing things. He will add things to your life. Realize you can do nothing apart from Him.
Finally, do everything you can today, because tomorrow is not promised.
