I enjoy writing poetry, but haikus never really cross my mind. Seems fitting, then, that our fearless leader would put a challenge down in front of us that haikus were the flavor of the week. Now, it has me thinking of what a Haiku poetry slam would look or sound like. Hmmm…..
I find You in stillness
The dawning of a new day
There, we sit and chat.
I ask as this day,
Show Your love through me, Oh God…
Let me deal in love.
