I am excited to share a review of Serenity Everyday has surfaced on the internet:
“Cultivate a mindset that releases people when they can’t be in. Most importantly, be mindful of the feelings you harbour when it comes to the people who did not take the bus with you.
Thank you for teaching me physical fitness and facades aside, I want to be forever imbued with my love and the love of God. Finding God in ourselves is an ultimate strength move. Other strength moves include: seeking counsel, identifying sources of emotional stress, forgiving and communicating with others, utilizing resources when it comes to critical projects, and lastly, being vulnerable. Concrete is hard, but it’s not indestructible. I permit myself to break down, break free, and be restored and not on account of burden-bearing rather, as an outcome of becoming.
A beautiful quote from the book…
‘Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.’ – Oprah Winfrey
Loved the last part, How I Found Serenity in Poetry; Romantic Reflections, Flower in the Shadow, Hiding Grief. These poems are truly heart touching.
I must say the author has outdone herself and left me awestruck with this book.”
